The CLT needs additional Directors
The CLT’s first project is to provide affordable housing for people with a strong local connection on one of the self-build sites identified in the Petersfield Neighbourhood Plan. Future projects could include more affordable housing, community buildings or taking on other assets important to the community.
To ensure these requirements are met, Petersfield CLT has been registered as a Community Benefit Society. It now needs 2 additional Directors to join its Board. This is a non-paid post which involves contributing to the CLTs work and attending monthly meetings, usually held in the evening in Petersfield.
We are looking for individuals who care about their community, who bring enthusiasm and offer experience in relevant fields. Current Board members come from backgrounds in architecture, project management, surveying and business.
FUNDING RECEIVED!
The Petersfield Community Land Trust has successfully applied for and received up to £10,000 funding from the Community Rights Programme. We are now able to proceed by commissioning the vital site investigation and survey work related to the H11 Self Build project at Reservoir Lane. The site investigation and survey work will help us to identify the technical constraints at the site, and is information that will be needed as a part of any planning application for development.
